Demi Hawks and Tyler, two step-siblings, choose to see the newest horror movie in spite of their stepmother Dana Vespoli’s warning that they won’t be able to sleep after. Naturally, the teenagers, true to what their stepmother said, arrive home later completely TERRIFIED! They run to Dana’s room and cuddle up to her from each side. Dana ‘told them so,’ but her stepmotherly instincts take over. At that point, Dana makes the decision to fully commit to trying anything and everything to soothe her darling little angels!
